Man Convicted of Rape Ordered into Custody
Judge Scott Green ordered Lance Elliott Falcon, 38, into custody and revoked his bond after prosecutors obtained convictions for Rape, Statutory Rape by an Authority Figure, and Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure. Assistant District Attorneys Kit Rodgers and Kevin Teeters of the Child Abuse Unit presented the State’s case during a two-day trial. The case began in July 2010 when the victim disclosed sexual abuse by Falcon. Knox County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Brian Williams interviewed witnesses and obtained a recorded phone call in which Falcon made several incriminating statements to the victim. The jury deliberated for less than two hours before finding Falcon guilty-as-charged on all counts. Judge Green set a sentencing hearing on April 10, 2015.
