District Attorney-Elect Announces Executive Staff
Charme P. Allen, District Attorney General-Elect for the Sixth Judicial District, is proud to announce her new Executive Staff. The Executive Staff is responsible for the management of the District Attorney General’s Office. This group of prosecutors has over one hundred and eight years of legal experience between them.
Samuel K. Lee is the Chief Deputy District Attorney General and is the second-in-command in the office. General Lee prosecuted crimes in both Knox and Anderson counties, and he has also represented clients in civil and criminal matters throughout Tennessee.
Deputy District Attorney General William H. Crabtree heads the Special Units Division of the DA’s Office. The Special Units Division targets specific crimes like Driving Under the Influence, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, and Violent Crimes. General Crabtree, a career prosecutor with over thirty-nine years with the Office, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position.
Leland L. Price is the Deputy District Attorney General over Criminal Courts. As a veteran of the United States Army and Harvard Law graduate, General Price combines tenacity and intelligence to lead a group of trial attorneys in the three Criminal Courts in Knox County.
The Deputy District Attorney General for General Sessions Court is Kyle A. Hixson. General Hixson will oversee the prosecution of cases in the four General Sessions Courts for Knox County. He brings experience as both a trial lawyer and an appellate lawyer, working the past two years for the State Attorney General’s Office in Nashville.
The newly appointed Executive Staff will oversee the eighty attorneys and support staff who prosecute nearly forty thousand criminal cases each year. They are proud to lead a group of dedicated and professional individuals whose main goal is to seek justice while being tough on crime and smart on prevention.
