YWCA Selects General Charme Allen as a “Tribute to Women” Awards Finalist!

District Attorney General Charme Allen is honored to be chosen as one of the YWCA Knoxville’s “Tribute to Women” Awards Finalists in the category of Community Service and Government.  The finalists were announced on Sunday, July 30th in the Knoxville News Sentinel (www.knoxnews.com).

Winners for each award category will be announced and recognized at the Annual YWCA “Tribute to Women” Awards Ceremony, which will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 with a Reception from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. in the Downtown First Tennessee Bank Outdoor Plaza preceding the Awards Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. at the Bijou Theater.

YWCA’s “Tribute to Women” is East Tennessee’s premier occasion for recognizing accomplishments of women across our region.  The Staff at the DA’s Office congratulates General Allen on this distinguished honor and, as always, we thank the YWCA for its excellent work in our community!
