Knox County’s New District Attorney General Announces Launch of Website and Facebook Page
Welcome to the new website of The Office of the District Attorney General! I hope you will find this website to be informative, useful, and easy to navigate. As your new District Attorney General, one of my goals is to help you understand and more easily access the criminal justice system.
The website is divided into five (5) main categories: The Office, Victim & Witness Information, Media Information, Community Affairs, and Resources. Within each category you will find specific information to help guide you through the criminal justice process as well as inform you about our Office and our role in criminal prosecutions in Knox County.
With so many aspects involved in the criminal justice system, we have focused on the issues that we feel will assist the general public and victims of crime the most. Under the Victim & Witness Resources Section, we provide many links to assist victims in particular and also links to area law enforcement agencies. I am especially excited about the publication of our Press Releases, which will give you up-to-date and accurate information about our Office’s commitment to being “Tough on Crime.” Also please take a look at our Upcoming Events Calendar for community events where the DA’s Office will be putting into action our goal of being “Smart on Prevention.”
