Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Criminal Court Division obtained a conviction today following a home invasion burglary in Fountain City. After a two-day trial, Justin Patrick Kiser, 20, was convicted of Facilitation of Aggravated Burglary and Theft.

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s DUI Unit obtained a conviction today against a career offender with six prior DUI convictions. Following a two-day trial, John Palladin Gibson, 43, was convicted of his seventh offense of Driving Under the Influence.

Calvin Lyndell Dibrell, 52, was convicted of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and Alprazolam in a Drug Free School Zone.
Multi-Convicted Felon Found Guilty of Theft
Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Career Gang Unit obtained a conviction today against a multi-convicted felon for stealing audio equipment. Billy Vincent Burke, 54, was convicted by a Knox County jury of Theft over $500.
Cocaine Dealer, Gang Member Nets Twenty-Year Sentence
Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Career Gang Unit obtained multiple convictions today against a drug dealer who is also a member of the Bloods criminal street gang. In a plea agreement announced before Judge Bob McGee, Edward Anthony Wilson, 36, was convicted of Possession with Intent to Sell Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Sell Heroin, and Possession with Intent to Sell Marijuana. Under the terms of the agreement, Wilson must serve twenty years in prison.
Methamphetamine Dealer Sentenced to Twenty-Three Years
Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Career Gang Unit obtained multiple convictions today against a man charged in multiple cases of methamphetamine dealing. In a plea agreement announced before Judge Scott Green, Jason Wayne Seabolt, 36, was convicted of Possession with Intent to Sell Methamphetamine in a Drug Free School Zone, Possession with Intent to Sell Methamphetamine, and several misdemeanor offenses. Under the terms of the agreement, Seabolt must serve twenty-three years in prison with the first fifteen years to be served without the possibility of parole.
Street Fight Stabbing Leads to Conviction
Prosecutors in District Attorney General Charme Allen’s Career Gang Unit obtained convictions today against a woman in the Rollin 20s Crips gang who stabbed a man in the back with a kitchen knife during a street fight. Briasha Marie Williams, 21, was convicted of two counts of Reckless Aggravated Assault.
Crips Gang Member Convicted of Attempted Murder
Prosecutors in District Attorney General Charme Allen’s Career Gang Unit obtained convictions today against a Crips gang member who attempted to kill a driver during a carjacking. Demetris Ross Grimes, 27, was convicted of eighteen counts including multiple counts of Attempted First Degree Murder, Employing a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Attempted Carjacking, Attempted Especially Aggravated Robbery, and Assault.
Blood Gang Member Convicted of Undercover Cocaine Sale
Prosecutors in District Attorney General Charme Allen’s Career Gang Unit obtained a conviction today against a man who sold cocaine to a Knoxville Police Department informant. Rashan Lateef Jordan, 35, was convicted of Sale and Delivery of Cocaine over .5 Grams in a Drug Free Childcare Zone.
Career Offender Convicted of Burglarizing Wal-Mart Again
For the second time in one month, prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Career Gang Unit obtained a conviction against a multi-convicted felon who burglarized Wal-Mart. Nikia Tnaha Bowens, 40, was convicted of Burglary and Theft. Bowens was convicted by a jury last month for another Burglary at a different Wal-Mart.
Defendant Sentenced to Seventeen Years for Violent Kidnapping and Assault
A Knox County man who was found guilty following a violent beating in 2012 was sentenced today to serve seventeen years in prison. In a January trial, prosecutors with DA Charme Allen’s Major Crimes Unit obtained convictions for Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Kidnapping, and Aggravated Assault against Nehad Sobhi Abdelnabi, 52.
Child Pornographer Receives Maximum Sentence after Secretly Recording Undressed Minor

In a trial last March, Ruben Sanchez Montiel, 31, was convicted of Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. At a sentencing hearing today before Judge Steve Sword, prosecutors argued that Montiel should receive the maximum sentence. Judge Sword agreed and sentenced Montiel to twelve years in prison.
Aryan Nation Gang Member Convicted of Burglarizing Wal-Mart
Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Career Gang Unit obtained Burglary and Theft convictions against Aryan Nation gang member Jason K. Ivey, 43, after he unlawfully entered Wal-Mart and stole merchandise. Judge Steve Sword set the case for sentencing on June 30.
Murderer Sent to Prison for Forty Years
Prosecutors in District Attorney General Charme Allen’s Major Crimes Unit obtained a conviction today for Second Degree Murder against Ty-Ray Earl Webb, 26, a man who shot his brother-in-law following an argument at a birthday party. Under the terms of the agreement, Webb will serve forty years in the Tennessee Department of Correction.
Underwater Assault Leads to Conviction
Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Criminal Court Division obtained a conviction against Deaton Joseph Myers, 21, for Assault by Extremely Offensive or Provocative Contact. At trial, Assistant District Attorney Randall Kilby explained to the jury that on February 7, 2014, Myers assaulted a fifteen-year-old boy in the pool of the Days Inn at 5335 Central Avenue Pike.
