Drug Dealer Convicted of Second Degree Murder

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Felony Drug Unit obtained convictions against a convicted felon whose drug dealing led to the death of a thirty-year-old woman. Kenyon Demario Reynolds, 43, was convicted of Second Degree Murder, Sale and Delivery of Heroin in a Drug Free School Zone, Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Heroin in a Drug Free School Zone, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Judge Bob McGee set the case for sentencing on April 27 where Reynolds faces a minimum of thirty years in prison.

Stepfather Sentenced to Twelve Years for Molesting Second Grader

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Child Abuse Unit obtained a twelve-year sentence against a stepfather who sexually abused a seven-year-old child. Justin Dewayne Bumby, 29, was convicted last month of two counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery. In a sentencing hearing today, Judge Scott Green sentenced Bumby to serve twelve years in prison without the possibility of parole.

Rollin 20s Crip Convicted of Murder

“”> Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen’s Career Gang Unit obtained a conviction against another Rollin 20s Crips gang member whose plot to commit random robberies ended in a homicide. Quantavious Williams was convicted First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, Carjacking, and Employing a Firearm during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony. Williams was sentenced to life in prison on the murder counts. Judge Bob McGee set the case for sentencing on December 14 to determine the sentence on the remaining charges.
